Veteran news presenter Jon Snow and Horizon presenter Dr Hannah Fry presented the first one hour broadcast of the three part special on Trainspotting. The two presenters shared a wonderful chemistry. Snow kept the exuberance and passion for locomotives alive where as Fry acted like a proxy for the viewers who had never thought of trains other than crowded shuttles to take you to and from work.
The show was punctuated with inserts from around the country, as members of the general public conducted interviews, filmed trains and even themselves sharing their passion for all things trains.
The show was a huge success and a clear sign that viewers needed a slower change of pace after the excitement from the Euro football tournament and Wimbledon. Twitter fans were especially blown away by the broadcast, as thousands of tweets flooded in praising the captivating broadcast.
Not taking a leaf out of the British rail systems book, Hyperactive Broadcast ensured that all kit and necessary equipment arrived promptly and on time with no delays to site.
